Creative Approach

The documentary was shaped from a substantial collection of interview material, requiring the narrative to be discovered and refined during the editing process. With no predefined script for the recreated scenes, each sequence was carefully positioned to complement the interviews and strengthen the flow of the story. Archival photographs were also transformed using a painterly digital treatment, introducing movement and visual depth while preserving their historical character. Working within a tight production schedule, the edit focused on creating a cohesive narrative that balanced historical accuracy with engaging visual storytelling.
