Xrar
Overview
Xrar is a television programme exploring the future of education in Malta, bringing together experts, educators and policymakers to discuss the challenges and opportunities shaping the education system. Combining interviews, supporting footage and motion graphics, the series presents complex topics in an accessible and engaging format, encouraging conversation around the changes needed to build a stronger future. Rather than relying on a traditional discussion format, the programme uses a contemporary visual style to make educational themes more dynamic and approachable for a broad television audience.

Editing Approach
The project combined editorial storytelling with extensive motion design and visual development. Alongside editing each episode, I created much of the programme's visual identity, including the opening title sequence, lower thirds, green screen environment, quotation graphics, social media segments and supporting on-screen assets. Every element was designed from scratch using Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects before being integrated into the final edit. With education often perceived as a challenging topic to present visually, the editorial approach focused on maintaining pace, introducing varied graphic elements and combining motion design with live-action footage to create a modern, engaging programme that kept viewers invested throughout.
