Overview
Inferno is a psychological short film that explores artistic obsession and the destructive pursuit of perfection. Written and directed as an original narrative, the film follows a writer so consumed by her ambition that she loses her grip on reality, trapped within an endless cycle of hope, failure and denial. As fragmented memories begin to surface, the boundary between life, death and imagination becomes increasingly uncertain. Rather than presenting a conventional psychological thriller, Inferno uses symbolism and repetition to examine the personal cost of allowing creative ambition to eclipse everything else.

Editing Approach
The film was edited to mirror the protagonist's deteriorating mental state, using repetition, fragmented memory and shifting rhythm to create a cyclical narrative that continually returns to the same emotional place. Rather than revealing the full story immediately, the edit gradually uncovers moments of clarity before drawing the audience back into the protagonist's delusion, reinforcing the feeling of being trapped within an endless loop. Careful pacing, visual symbolism and restrained performances allow the psychological tension to build organically, inviting viewers to question what is real and what exists only within the protagonist's fractured perception.
