Overview
Run is a dystopian short film following two siblings seeking refuge in an uncertain world shaped by conflict and fear. Hidden inside an isolated house, they rely on radio broadcasts for news of an ongoing rebellion while attempting to remain unnoticed. As recurring nightmares blur the line between memory and trauma, the fragile sense of safety begins to unravel. When the brother leaves in search of the truth behind a devastating rumour, his sister is forced to confront an impossible choice: wait for his return or continue alone. The film explores survival, grief and the quiet resilience required to keep moving forward.

Creative Approach
One of the project's biggest creative challenges was transforming footage shot during daylight into a believable night-time world. Through careful colour grading and strategic production planning, scenes were designed around the available natural light before being shaped in post-production to create a consistent nocturnal atmosphere. The edit balances quieter moments of suspense with fragmented nightmare sequences, using shifts in rhythm and pacing to reflect the protagonist's growing uncertainty. Rather than relying on action alone, tension is built through restrained performances, sound design and visual contrast, allowing the psychological weight of the story to unfold gradually.
